NEW GOODIES THIS WEEK We received another batch of French Girl patterns this week, two of which were test knit/crocheted by Yarntopians!
First we have Ghilaine, crocheted by Sheryl. Ghilaine is worked in Rowan Kid Classic, Rowan Kid Silk Haze, and Rowan Lurex Shimmer. The A-line shape of the pattern would look fantastic on any figure.
Next we have Fifi, knitted by my marvelous mother Mary Ann (how's that for a bit of alliteration?) Fifi is knit in my all-time favorite summer yarn Rowan Calmer. The pattern has already been selling like hotcakes here at the shop. Get started on it now to wear this spring.
Chantal, a cardigan knit in Rowan Big Wool, is next on my list to knit. It has a flattering ribbed pattern, a must for bulky yarns. I think it will become a staple in my cool weather wardrobe. I'm hopefully going to start on mine next week. If you would like to do a little KAL (knit-a
-long) with me, Sheryl or I will help you pick out your yarn. Finally, we have Riva. This pattern is so lacy and romantic. Because it is knit in Rowan Kid Silk Haze, you can wear it well into the spring. I'm thinking I might do mine in silver.
We also received the new Winter 06/07 Vogue Knitting along with a new color of Regia silk sock yarn.
Just a reminder, we will be open on New Years Day for those of you who are sick of football and would like to come hang out and knit/crochet. See you then!
Amy
